The Play Well East Africa audio learning program, Mama Viazi is set in a refugee settlement called Dunga Refugee Settlement. Dunga is located somewhere in the East African hinterland.

It is assumed to have a population of about 200,000 refugees who are heterogeneous because they hail from different geographical, ethnic and tribal backgrounds outside the countries of Uganda and Tanzania.
